FrontRange Solutions has released GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0.
9 is an upgrade to the current 8.5 Premium. The already solid GoldMine PE (Premium Edition) gets some new bells and whistles, dashboards and very tight integration with Outlook 2003 or 2007.
The dashboards provide graphical views of key sales, activity, and customer service information right out of the box. They are real time with full drill down capabilities to make it easy to follow data to the actual customer record.
As shown above the dashboards can provide both graphical and tabular data views. In the view above note that each dashboard also has tabs with different views of information within the same dashboard. Gm 9 will come with a selection of pre created dashboards. There is also a wizard to design additional dashboards.
The Outlook integration provides email, contact and calendar integration between GoldMine and Outlook for 2 primary reasons. First Outlook users can now add their info to GoldMine’s powerful history function without ever leaving Outlook. Secondly the new Outlook link provides automated syncing between GoldMine and OUtlook to keep Smart phones and PDAs up to date with data from GoldMine.

Initially there were some issues with the link to Outlook. On systems the linking of emails, calendar and contact data was slow. A patch has been issued to Partners and I'm happy to say that the perfomance is now very good.
